A profound reading... Your first two paragraphs are definitely something I'm going to write down and reflect upon many times in the future. I can't help but think... How many people, particularly in the past when the arrival of Christianity was still fresh, shared your approach and entwined what was painted as Pagan and Christian in such a deep way? They gave it no second thought, it was an automatic, natural, organic practice. So many - yet we know almost nothing of them.

Go raibh maith agat! It was at Brighid's well in Liscannor, Clare that I first began to understand that twining -- and I came to understand it all the more deeply walking across Inis Mór. It was and is deeply healing -- and helped me understand my Da's devotion to Our Lady of Knock, who since then has become important to me as Áine in Catholic clothing. I have had a few recent encounters with the stag. The enormous silhouette in the moonlight, his eyes in the forest, and most recently the powerful sound of his snort? When I opened the door from my cabin, very powerful
