The way Apple trees grow drunk on the fermentation of each others' fruit after the autumn rains, the way the mountain and the river take turns flowing into each other, and become together a forest, the way, pressed together, we syncopate our inhaltion and exhalation, the way our bodies remember the skin and feather and fur and scales of every incarnation when we are deep enough in dreaming, I would be woven together in an ecology of grief and joy and rage and tenderness, deep peace and wild hunger forever flowing from form to form permutation to permutation shapeshifting expression of a living current of relation.
